We currently have an exciting opportunity for an RCM Practice Administrator I. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the client billing relationship for a select group of Anesthesia practice locations (hereinafter referred to as "clients"). Responsibilities include: monitoring RCM compliance with Early Key Indicators to ensure that timely corrective actions are being taken by RCM & Operating Unit (OU) teams; serving as Key Liaison with physician leaders for Provider Feedback & RVU reporting; and interacting with OU leadership, Hospital C-Suite and Corporate teams to substantially affect the relationship between RCM and clients from a financial and/or services standpoint. Utilizes their knowledge of client and physician billing process to maximize performance.

Responsibilities
Monitor Weekly Early Indicator Report for each assigned client & follow up with responsible operational owner for areas showing "in the red" metrics to ensure that timely investigation & corrective action is taking place. Elevate uncorrected areas to senior management.
Reach out to OU team, as required, for any needed Early Indicator corrective action (i.e. "red" metrics mentioned above). Recommend actions to improve results. Monitor OU progress and elevate to OU senior leadership if necessary.
Serve as liaison for Provider Feedback & RVU Reporting process to ensure that providers are satisfied their charts are accurately coded resulting in timely & accurate compensation. Conduct clear upfront communication of realistic expectations. Monitor process to ensure that agreed upon timelines are being complied with by both parties.
Serve as the primary OU contact for internal/external information flow whether relating to issue resolution or strategic data needs, both of which directly impact client satisfaction.
Interact with site Medical Directors, Hospital C-Suite and OU leadership on sensitive, high visibility patient complaints. Ensure timely & appropriate response within RCM.
Monitor monthly Key Indicator Report for each assigned client and investigate the root cause of unusual variances to ensure proper operational resolution. Respond to Key Indicator Report questions from OU team.
Interact with management reporting production area as needed on behalf of clients.
Act as key participant at various Operational Department specific meetings providing input as it relates to client performance.
Ensure that all client information is forwarded to Practice Admin Coordinator for proper maintenance in RTI client "Fact Sheet" database for use by all operational areas.
Maintain current understanding of key health care industry reimbursement issues and communicate vital information to clients.
Develop, create, and generate design specifications to satisfy client-specific unique reporting approved by Corporate, OU and RTI senior management.
Investigate and facilitate resolution of billing issues of varying complexity that directly influence client and patient satisfaction.
Assume indirect accountability by facilitating multi-departmental resolution of complex client issues.
Adhere to and comply with HIPAA & information Systems security. Know and follow privacy & security policies and procedures. Attend compliance & Information Systems security training, as offered. Report information systems security problems.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in the area of business and/or a health-related field.
If individual possesses an MS or MA Graduate Degree in a related field of study, prior work experience of 1-2 years in a specialized functional discipline is acceptable.
2+ years of Healthcare Practice Management, Medical Billing and Client Relationship Management experience and/or related medical administration experience.
Client facing experience, specifically presenting to and working with physicians and hospital leadership
Experience in Part B Reimbursement and a familiarity with ED and inpatient operations preferred
