About RCC

The Looking Glass Regional Crisis Center (RCC) is a PRTS/Subacute residential facility. RCC contracts solely with DHS Child Welfare to provide assessment and evaluation to youth in child welfare custody. RCC provides a safe and comfortable living environment, mental health treatment, family therapy, skill building, and on-site nursing and educational services.

Given the trauma the youth in the program have experienced prior to intake, and the developmental considerations they often face, RCC clients often display acute behaviors and mental health challenges. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics and, as a last resort, seclusion and manual restraint when necessary to ensure the safety of our clients. While our youth present with significant struggles, they are funny, kind, helpful, clever, and wonderful to work with.

  • Qualified candidates must have a master's degree in counseling, social work, or a closely related field and must be certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
