Job Description
Seeking a positive, motivated, and adaptable early career scientist or experience warehouse technician for a full-time 1st shift opportunity. Monday-Friday 8:00am
Employee Responsibilities Include:
Performs sampling on air ports across the client site
Samples of bulk tanker truck deliveries
Performs compressed air analysis, and total oil and dewpoint testing
Employee will cross-train with the solids sampling group to support other sampling activities as needed
Requests material to a location for sampling, visually inspects, and verifies material prior to sampling
Cleans and disinfects raw material containers for entry into a clean room environment
Uses sterile technique to gown into clean room environment
Accurately records sampling activities and reports any quality anomalies
Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
Ensures superlative customer service to clients
Participates in required training activities
Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
Involves some travel; no more that 10 minutes by car between sampling sites
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Strong computer and organizational skills
Desire to work in a physical role that requires standing much of the time, pushing barrels weighing up to 500 lbs on a dolly, and lifting containers of up to 30 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Requires bending, squatting, lifting, and twisting.
Is self-motivated, adaptable, team-oriented, and has a positive attitude
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other science-related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
