The Contractor shall:

  • Daily, schedule short and long-term demolition range, and land and underwater training area requirements using the online Center Scheduling Enterprise (CSE) Program. Support requires the Contractor to liaise with Program Managers and Test Engineers at the Joint Test and Training Operations Control Center on Eglin AFB to de-conflict land, sea, and air missions that could affect range requirements.
  • Manage the commands Land Mobile Radio (LMR) inventory (approximately 200), to include the check out and check in of LMRs to individuals and divisions, delivering LMRs to Eglin AFB for frequency and channel loading/servicing, and the process for replacing damaged or old LMRs. In addition, the Contractor shall conduct an annual inventory (CDRL) and report the results to the 96th Communications Squadron via the NSEOD Range Operations Manager and Commanding Officer, or their designated representative.
  • Monitor the Commands Explosive Safety Self-Assessment and Explosive Safety Inspection checklist for recurring tasks, notify the Explosive Safety Officer (ESO) and appropriate staff personnel via email of due dates, and document the completion.
  • Assist the ESO in performing quarterly safety inspections of 11 Ready Service Lockers, 8 Earth Covered Magazines, performing quarterly and annual safety inspections of four demolition ranges, and semi-annual Lightning Protection System inspections for all Ready Service Lockers and Earth Covered Magazines. The Contractor shall follow NSEOD developed checklists to inspect the locations and document the findings, and afterward file the results as directed by the ESO.
  • Perform administrative duties of maintaining and filing electronic and hardcopy correspondence, recording daily musters, coordinating reviews of Range Operations and Explosive Safety instructions and directives, and maintaining unescorted access lists for ammunition and explosive storage areas,
  • Manage office supply stocks, submit requests for supplies and materials, and receive the supplies and materials. The Contractor is authorized to inspect, accept, and sign for supplies and materials purchased through the Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card Program. The Contractor will not inspect, accept, and sign for services related transactions (i.e., Contractor performance and labor costs).
  • Monitor weather reports and issue watches and warnings for lightning within 30, 10, and 5 nautical miles, and document lightning hold statistics (i.e., training evolutions paused due to lightning) in a Command Excel document.
  • Perform as the Alternate Unit Frequency Manager and the Alternate Motorcycle Safety Representative. The Unit Frequency Manager requests Radio Frequency Authorizations from Eglin AFB for NSEOD equipment (e.g., LMRs, robots, electronic countermeasures). The Motorcycle Safety Representative requests quotas for Motorcycle Safety courses, notifies the student of the quota and attendance requirements, and enters course completions in Enterprise Safety Application Management System.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in military range scheduling operations, one (1) year of experience with the Department of the Navy Shore Station Explosive Safety Compliance Program
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Will be required to follow all Federal COVID-19 protocols as they pertain to contractors

VIEW JOBS 12/2/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-03-02T00:00 <p><strong>Contingent Position</strong></p><p><strong>Position Location: </strong>Eglin AFB, FL</p><p>NSEOD has an inventory of Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE), for which under this task the Contractor will support approximately 140 pieces of CESE and portable generators. CESE includes all-terrain vehicles, tractors, and a single man-lift.</p><p>The Contractor shall: </p><ul> <li>As assigned on the maintenance schedule by the NSEOD Maintenance Officer, maintain and repair equipment in accordance with the respective manufacturer’s service manual, document all maintenance and repairs, and update the maintenance schedule. Performance requires performing diagnostics and troubleshooting, and maintenance and repairs include, but are not limited to overhauling engines, transmissions, axel assemblies, differentials, transaxles, suspensions, fuel injection systems, exhaust and emission control systems, gear reduction systems, steering mechanisms/systems, hydraulic power assist systems, related electrical, electronic, hydraulic, fuel and other vehicle assemblies. </li> <li>Complete maintenance and repairs within an independent or manufacturer's estimate of the time required to complete the work, document the work using a Shop Repair Order (SRO), and archive the SRO in the respective equipment history jacket. </li> <li>Submit purchase order requests to NSEOD Maintenance Department Work Leader for repair parts, tools, materials and supplies required for maintenance and repair tasks (CDRL). </li> <li>Maintain an inventory of frequently used repair parts and expendable/non-expendable bench stock items, and annually, perform a physical inventory of on-hand repair parts and bench stock items and submit the inventory to the Maintenance Department Work Leader. </li> <li>Properly containerize, package, label, and store Contractor controlled or produced HAZMAT in accordance with all regulations and use NSEOD B8856 accumulation site for disposal of all HAZMAT. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Have a minimum of six (6) years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and qualified to maintain and repair the Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE). </li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. </li> <li>Will be required to follow all Federal COVID-19 protocols as they pertain to contractors</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, holidays, PTO, 401(k) with company match</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><i>FirstDiv</i></strong><strong><i> is an equal opportunity employer.
