The Holland RMSS Product Owner is a dynamic role providing servant leadership within the assigned product and relevant Agile team. The Product Owner will work with the Director of Product Management and the Product Owner team to provide global vision for the product and prioritize feature and function within the development teams sprint cycle.


Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle and create user stories that are well defined & understood by the development team.
Optimizing the value of the work the Development Team performs
Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of clearly expressed Product Backlog stories that are prior prepared prior to Sprint Planning.
Plan, prioritize, and order the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions.
Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities.
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories. Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next.
Work closely with the Director of Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of newfunctionalities
Provide an active role with the Scrum Master in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
Follow our competitors and the industry
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends


Standing, walking, bending and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly required for photocopying, filing and other record-keeping duties
Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer
Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries


General business office setting.
Possible on-track presence and exposure to outdoor elements.
Ability to travel up to 30% both domestically and internationally via ground, air or rail


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
5+ years experience in a Product Owner role preferred
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles and Scrum Framework
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Creative thinker with a vision
Attention to details
Ability to work in team environment.
Must pass mandatory pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
Possess a valid drivers license and meet the Holland Vehicle Fleet Policy.
Must be willing to travel throughout North America up to 30% of the time; must maintain a valid US Passport.
