Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:
Working with engagement teams as they develop proposals for non-audit services for restricted clients and providing guidance as to independence considerations related to the services;
Relating to the Authorisation For Services (AFS) secondary review process, performing reviews and reconciliations of AFS requests, engagement letters, requests for proposals (RFPs) and proposal documents, identifying any notable differences from an independence/scope perspective;
Collaborating with colleagues within the AFS review team and broader One Firm Risk Organization (OFRO) independence/Risk Management teams';
Responding to ad hoc independence/AFS inquiries from within OFRO or engagement teams;
Participating in the firm's Engagement Compliance Review (ECR) process assisting reviewers address independence related matters for non-audit engagements selected for review;
Preparing training/thought leadership materials;
Staying current regarding commercial awareness and applying knowledge to complex problems;
Thinking critically about service offerings and efficiently executing reviews of AFSs, proposals, RFPs, and other client communications;
Interpreting independence policies and guidance; and,
Managing and reporting project status and escalating issues.
