Operate radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by physicians and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Also, produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed, according to established practices and procedures.
Take x-ray and CT images of specified body areas/parts as ordered, following established procedures.
Prepare patient and adjust equipment for taking x-rays and performing CT scan. Position and instruct patient regarding
procedures. Administer contrast media when ordered by venous puncture and/or existing IV site
as specified by Radiologist.
Transport and take images throughout the hospital as needed (operating room, emergency
room, and patient room).
Process films and check for proper positioning technique and patient identification. Prepare and
deliver films to Radiologist for interpretation.
Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety,
environmental and infection control.
Maintain required department record (patient/other), reports, and files.
Assist in care and maintenance of facilities, equipment and supplies. Keep work areas clean.
Maintain supply levels.

Must be AART Certifed
