Radiology Technologist

Summary:# Utilizes radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to obtain high quality diagnostic images in a timely fashion for the efficient operation of the Radiology Department. Education: ##ARRT certification or registry eligibility is required.# Rhode Island state licensure is also#required.# In addition, must also be CPR certified or obtain it within 3 months from date of hire.

Experience:# 1 year experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered. Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Works in clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated areas. #May be exposed to electrical and radiant energy and to unpleasant physical conditions of patients.# Stands, walks, and lifts (medium to heavy weights) most of the day.# The possibility of exposure to blood and body fluids does exist in this work environment.# Hospital safety training is required annually to reduce the risk of exposure.
