Position Information:

The Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to make quality radiographs of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. Requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital including: pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures.

This position includes call back rotation at multiple sites. This position reports to the Supv, Radiology.

Experience Requirements:

No Experience Required And 1 Year Clinical

  • Radiology Preferred

Education Required:

Graduate Radiologic Technology Required


Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Registered Technologist for Radiography And Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Required

Monday

  • Thursday 8:30pm

  • 7:00am

Utilizing a fleet of 24 ground ambulances and operates type I, II, and III ambulances. The adult and pediatric specialty care teams provide medical transport 24 hours/day. The role of the Emergency Medical Technician is to provide patient care and /or operation of an ambulance as part of the Medical Center's critical and non-critical transport program. Provides documentation of BLS patient conditions and cares as needed for patients within the scope limits of practice for an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. Cleans and exhibits proper operation of ambulance, associated equipment and work area. Performs routine daily inspections and preventive maintenance of ambulances. Other duties that may be assigned.
