Job Summary The Radiology Technologist is accountable for coordinating and performing a variety of diagnostic procedures in general radiology.

Training and performing Cathlab duties as part of your radiology duties (share roles). Perform a variety of non-contrast CT procedures and perform them on weekends and evening when possible to minimize CT callbacks. Oversees radiology office operations in the absence of clerical staff. Participates in the instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students and other staff.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. Education and/or Experience Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology is required, or a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and in good standing with the accrediting board.

Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent specialty. BLS certification required within 3 months of hire. 6 months to 1 year of experience required, 1-2 years’ experience preferred. Work Schedule Varied Shifts; 72 hours 2 weeks 8 or 9-hour days Starting times vary depending on shift rotation and call schedule Occasional weekend (Weekend call rotation - approximately 1 every 5) Occasional holiday (Holiday call rotation - approximately 1 every 5) Occasional call time (Call rotation - approximately 1 every 5) Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience. $25.00 - $37.75 per hour
