Responsibilities:

Imaging procedures: Perform a wide range of advanced radiographic examinations, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and fluoroscopy, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Patient positioning and safety:

Ensure proper patient positioning for imaging procedures, taking into consideration patient comfort and safety. Implement radiation safety measures and shielding to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and yourself.

Equipment operation and maintenance:

Operate and maintain complex radiology equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and other specialized imaging devices. Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Image analysis and interpretation:

Analyze and interpret radiographic images, collaborating closely with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate reports and assist in the diagnostic process. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of imaging findings.

Team collaboration:

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and support staff. Communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion of imaging procedures, and seamless patient care.

Patient education and support:

Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing emotional support. Ensure that patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout the imaging process.

Quality assurance and improvement:
