JOB SUMMARY: A California State certified radiological technologist that performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail; performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, and use of ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic procedures as assigned; may be assigned responsibility for specific radiographic procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school graduate. 2. Successful completion of an AMA accredited training program leading to registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. 3.
State of California and ARRT registration and certification. 4. BLS certification required and maintained thereafter. 5. Expertise training needed dealing with an age-specific population.
