Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice or evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military.

• Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)

• Registered with ARRT

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols

• Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department

• Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes

• Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs

• Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort

• Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines

• Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures

• The Radiologic Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations*
