Job Summary: Performs Radiologic exams of designated anatomy according to physician specifications.

Adheres to necessary radiation safety precautions. Follows the guidelines for Radiation Safety while imaging gently. May also register patients and perform clerical duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology Performs imaging examinations using established procedures with the level of knowledge acquired through completion of occupationally specific education. Must have a general understanding and working knowledge of radiation producing equipment.

Demonstrates proficiency in all areas of radiology. Ability to work independently. Must have general understanding and a working knowledge of radiation producing equipment.

Ability to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, family and physicians. Work requires the ability to exchange information, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay patient needs to appropriate personnel. Excellent telephone skills.

Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Licensure and Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists);CPR certification required #
