Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring for a Radiology Tech Assistant to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.

P
osition Overview:

Performs chest, abdominal, extremity, and spine radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: operation of equipment, development of films, and preparation of patient room and equipment under direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled and have completed 2 semester of formal education that is accredited by the ARRT plus a high school degree.
• BLS

Job Summary

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
