Radiology Supervisor, FT Rotating (4342-029)

Responsible for coordinating and maintaining the operational management aspects for completion of Radiology exams; supervises assigned technologists; maintains department's quality improvement program; assists with preparation and maintains Radiology department budget. Works with the leadership to achieve goals of the Imaging Department and works directly with the Medical Director and Director of Imaging on specific projects as requested. Provides care to pediatric patients of varying ages with age related needs.

Required Skills

• Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred.

• Possess effective oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to organize work and establish department policies.

• Demonstrates independent judgment, resourcefulness and long-range planning.

• Proficient in performing Radiology studies.

Required Experience

Work Experience:

• Three years experience in Radiology.

• One year experience in supervision/management preferred.

License/Registration/Certification:

• Certified Radiology Tech ARRT-R
• Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, M.R.T.;
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Education and Training:

• Graduate of an Accredited Program in Radiology.
