Directs performance of routine radiological procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. Responds to daily operations of the department.

Maintains a system for reporting results of all radiological studies and the billing procedures associated with them. Responsible for the performance level for all staff in accordance to quality standards and state, local and federal requirements. Responsible for radiology safety program.

National certification by the State of Florida or the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT). Minimum of two-years supervisory or managerial experience preferably in an acute care environment. Able to communicate effective through written and verbal means.

Flexible availability to cover various shifts on weekdays and weekends is necessary. CRT, ARRT (R) and BLS are required. The Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing quality diagnostic radiographs which are ready for interpretation by the Radiologist in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
