Position#Summary The Radiology Manager is responsible for promoting and maintaining the standardization of imaging office operations, and developing and implementing consistent operating Performance Metrics. They are also responsible for creating a standardized workflow training curriculum and process.

In addition, they assist in the management of administrative and technical functions of medical imaging locations, including the day-to-day operations and the development, interpretation and application of office policies; budgets and long-range plans. They are responsible for the direct supervision of the technical and clerical staff. Assist the Administrative Director in the daily business operations of all imaging facilities.

Primary Position Responsibilities 1.Provides technical and non-technical leadership to all staff. 2.Assist the Administrative Director to set forth rules and regulations governing departmental operations including business related work performance. 3.Supervises training and continuing education of all staff in use of digital imaging and non-imaging technology. 4.Works in concert with the Information Services Department in providing PACS and RIS systems oversight as well as oversight of implementation and operation of all digital modality and archiving equipment. Troubleshoots and assists physicians and staff. 5.Sets goals for the department and maintains current and keen awareness of innovations pertaining to all digital imaging technology and supporting hardware and software applications. 6.Works in tandem with other hospital departments such as providing CT time data points to Quality Assurance for stroke protocol, HIPAA compliance data to HIPAA Officer, Time-Out compliance to Patient Safety, Central Billing Office inquiries, and other departments as needed. 7.Maintain day-to-day responsibility of their respective office operations. 8.Have overall responsibility for operations of HMC Department of Imaging offices. 9.Meet regularly with Manager and Clinical/Modality leads to collaborate on developing and implementing workflow standards, modality accreditations and clinical policies. 10.Will be responsible for overseeing group-wide imaging office-related projects. 11.Work with Clinical/Modality leads to coordinate resource recruitment, training and scheduling.


Qualifications Minimum Education:


Required: â-High School Diploma Preferred: â-BS Degree â-Degree in Business Management or related field Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: â-3 years business experience Preferred: - Radiology experience# Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: â-Leadership/supervisory skills.

Good communication skills. Computer skills.
