Job Description

Seton Smithvilleis looking to hire a skilled Radiology Manager to leadour dynamic imaging department and team!

Requirements:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

  • Possess one or more imaging registry through ARRT, ARDMS, NMTCB or CCI.If licensed in a radiation discipline, must also be credentialed through the Texas Medical Board.

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required

  • 3 years technical experience required;1 year leadership or management experience required.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments.

  • Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.

  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.

  • Oversees the monitoring of departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.

  • Ensures on-going compliance with federal, state and local agencies; Joint Commission, ACR, JRCERT, ICAVL and all regulatory agencies.

  • Maintains established productivity standards and supply expense metrics. Accountable for monthly reporting departmental variances, budget, FTE and expense variances with associated action plan.

SUMMARY The primary purpose of the Facilities Project Manager position is to represent Facilities Planning, Design and Construction when providing project management expertise in management of one or more assigned projects. Assist in the management of complex major and manages less complex capital facility projects. Possess knowledge of construction processes, product application and building/infrastructure component assembly. Under general direction, demonstrate project management skills in the management of integration/coordination of project elements, delegation of activities in the management of stakeholders, scope management, time management, cost management, quality assurance, managing changes priorities and communication management in the generation, collection, dissemination, storage and ultimate disposition of project information. Assures compliance with, and adheres to, current institutional and industry standards. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES Project Management Manages the key projects aspects of scope, budget, schedule, and project contract compliance. Ensure that projects are successfully completed on schedule, within the approval budget and in accordance with applicable quality standards. Guides and manages the Project Team (customers; General Contractor/Construction Manager; Consultants; Facilities, Planning, Design, & Construction internal resources and Facilities Management Division groups) to yield productive actions through conflict management and use of good written and verbal communication to ensure a successful project completion. Compliance /Regulations Manages contractual compliance and relationships for the assigned projects. Defines & implements contractual and financial strategies. Coordinate approval procedures with the BOR, THECB, FSC and associated State Agencies. Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Services in the preparation of necessary documentation for contract award. Support the ROCIP on the selected projects. Documentation/Recordkeeping Develops and manages project documentation, record keeping, financial and activity status reports that are accurate, up-to-date, clear and complete in support of the decision making, issue solving and informing processes of a project.
