General Summary of Position:

  • Operates conventional, fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body areas according to physician specification and radiographic protocols.

Education:

  • Associate's degree or one to three years formal training in an American Medical Association accredited Radiologic Technology Program is required.

Experience:

  • Less than one month of previous job experience.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

  • Must have passed American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) examination and be AART certified

Provides efficient and effective patient care in the production of high quality diagnostic MRI examinations. Provides a high level of customer service, performing in a manner consistent with Hospital organization values. Education: * Associate's degree or one to three years, with formal training in an American Medical Association accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Experience: * Approximately four to six months of job related experience and/or successful completion of a formal MRI educational training program. This will be waived for WHC Radiology School student that have rotated to MRI. Certification/Registration/Licensure: * Successful Completion of either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI examination or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) examination within one year of date of hire for unregistered Technologist.
