Job Description:

• Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.

• Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Hours:

• Monday

• Thursday: 4pm

• 9pm

Job Requirements:

• Education: Trade School Graduate

• Radiologic Technology

• License/Certification: ARRT; Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire.

• Preferred (Not Required): Experience with GE equipment

Job Summary

Performs general diagnostic radiologic and Fluoro imaging studies of patients and/or works in a hospital or standing ED. Works within the scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.

Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire. Grandfathered staff at time of merger with military radiologic technologist training will be accepted in lieu of ARRT registry.

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
