Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Radiologic Technologist IIIwho will function in a lead capacity and perform radiologic procedures employing the use of x-rays to produce images of various parts of the body for the diagnosis of pathological and traumatic disorders. They also plan, schedule, assign, and review the performances of Radiologic Technologist I and II staff.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles),Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. Modified Benefit Option (MBO):This benefit option provides full-time employees in

eligible classifications the opportunity to earn a higher hourly rate of pay (above base pay).

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Shift Availability:ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility;applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application.Shift differentials are provided.

Pre-Employment Process:Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.

Licensed/Certifications:Incumbents must posses and maintain all licenses required by their classification per the minimum requirements below and per regulations applicable to their classifications and specialty assignments. Must obtain a State Fluro license within 6 months of hire date.

Minimum Requirements

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS & LICENSES

  • State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist Certification

  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Health Association

  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Three (3) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting.
  • OR-
  • Completion of the ARMC Radiologic Technology Program and two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medical institution as a registered x-ray technologist (post certificate).

Desired Qualifications

One (1) year of experience as a Lead Radiologic Technologist or Supervising Technologist is highly desirable.
