Job title: Radiologic Technologist

Hours: PRN

Location: NGPG - Urgent Care Gainesville

Job Desription:

Responsible for performing radiographic procedures in a timely manner. Reviews all films for technical quality and positioning.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Licensure or other certifications: Graduate of accredited ARRT Program. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Educational Requirements:
High School or GED required.

Minimum Experience: Minimum of two years as experience preferred. (not required)

NGHS Position: Radiologic Technologist/ Rad Tech Location: Gainesville Medical Center Job Description: Under the direction of a Radiologist and Supervisor, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures required. The scope of care includes age groups ranging from newborn to elderly. May be required to perform Bone Density exams. Licensure or other certifications: ARRT Registered Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of accredited ARRT Program. Minimum Experience: One year preferred.
