    External Candidates Only BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Imaging Coordinator/Director, provides patient services using imaging modalities. Performs radiographic procedures.

    Applies principles of radiation protection. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures.

    Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures. Maintains patient confidentiality.

    RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST EDUCATION, TRAINING # EXPERIENCE: Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program, or equivalent.

    Certification by the American Registry of Radiographic Technologist, or equivalent.

    Competency in components of radiography practice as appropriate. Valid state licensure.# Must have valid CPR Certification. Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required.# Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (Performance Appraisal System), Relias (Education System) and the ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned
