. # RESPONSIBILITIES # EXPECTATIONS Serves as a consultant in area of Radiology. May work a variety of shifts 7 days per week, including a holiday rotation. Subject to frequent interruptions during performance of duties. Lunch periods and breaks are coordinated with other staff to maintain adequate unit coverage. Expected to adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Expected to fulfill position description and requirements. Constant standing and walking. Possible exposure to ionizing radiation. Close contact with patients under mental and physical stress. Close contact with patients under isolation. Adheres to policies, protocols, updates and education Assists in maintaining hospital and unit mission and standards. Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and#colleagues. Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the planning and delivery of imaging services. Update and educate all new polices and protocols Complete and track Education and Job Performance sheets when errors are made Assist in Staff Evaluations Report to Shared Decision Meeting Possible exposure to ionizing radiation.
