Job Description:

Position Overview

In this position the employee will providethe following services to support production of PET biomarkers at PETNETmanufacturing facilities:

  • Provide sustaining engineering and implementation services to enable theproduction and testing of PET biomarkers

  • Design and develop improvements forreleased products, processes and equipment used in the production and testingof PET biomarkers

  • Review, revise and/or develop technical documentation utilized inbiomarker production, quality control and equipment maintenance

  • Administer software solutions used tosupport biomarker manufacturing processes

  • Install and qualify production and qualitycontrol equipment to enable the production of biomarkers

  • Implement new production processes andanalytical methods used to prepare and test biomarkers

  • Implement improvements for productionprocesses and analytical methods used to prepare and test biomarkers

  • Perform on-site applications training forprocesses and analytical methods for new and existing biomarkers

  • Provide Tier 2 biomarker technical support and compliance oversight atassigned PETNET sites

  • Provide start-up services for new PETmanufacturing facilities

Responsibilities

  • Track and review performance metrics toidentify equipment and process problems

  • Prioritize identified problems and developsolutions to improve productivity and customer satisfaction

  • Participate in thedesign of complex hardware, software and process solutions

  • Participate in thetracking of metrics to ensure that equipment, cost and delivery objectives aremet

  • Track and maintainassets (e.g. equipment, parts, tools, software, etc.)

  • Participate in thedesign recommendations for alternatives or changes to the most complex customerspecifications and/or processes to better match company products to customerneeds and to improve productivity.

  • Assist ininvestigations and analysis of the most complex field problems.

  • Assist in the designof explanations and clarifies information to enable proper interpretation andevaluation of the most complex specifications, performance characteristics orother technical data.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS degree inchemistry, engineering or other science field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 yearsexperience in the production of PET biomarkers or commercial operations

  • Stronginterpersonal, organizational and managerial skills

  • Excellent attentionto detail in the execution of job responsibilities

  • Ability toaccomplish multiple tasks in fast-paced environment

  • Up to 50% travel asrequired to perform job functions

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience inproduction and testing of 18F radiolabeled biomarkers is required

  • Experience withgeneral radiation safety and hazardous material handling or similar technicalexperience

  • Experience workingwith complex analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, and TLC
