Radiation Therapist - Full Time With Benefits

Position Summary:

Provides a variety of technical procedures associated with Radiation Therapy Treatments to patients with clinical supervision from the Radiation Oncologist and the Medical Physicist. Works effectively with the Radiation Oncology team to provide excellent customer service in a compassionate and supportive environment. Assumes a lead role in the clinical implementation of new programs in the department.

Education:

Graduate of an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology.

Licensures/Certifications:

• Board Certified by ARRT.

• Maryland State Certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist

• Current CPR Certification

Experience:

Two years clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist desirable

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrate competence in the operation and general function of radiation therapy linear accelerators

• Demonstrate competence in the operation of the CT Simulator preferred

• Proficiency in the use of Aria or RaySearch software preferred
