Radiation Oncology Specialist

The Radiation Oncology Nurse utilizes the nursing process in caring for radiation oncology patients during all stages of treatment.# With an emphasis on symptom management, patient/family education and psychosocial issues, the radiation oncology specialist formulates policies and procedures for the care of the radiation patient and provides direct nursing care.# Additional activities include staff and community education, participation in oncology quality review, and assistance with radiation oncology research activities. Current licensure to practice Professional Nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 10 years# clinical nursing experience. 5 years Oncology Nursing experience ONS preferred #
