This role will be based out of Boulder, CO.

A Day in the Life

We are looking for a R&D Engineer II who will support continued product focused excellence for oximetry products.

  • You will possess a deep understanding of oximetry measuring systems from foundation technical knowledge to product specific expertise.

  • You will implement design changes and develop test methods to ensure continued safety and efficacy of patient monitoring devices.

  • You will interpret specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements for all aspects of products.

  • You will document patient monitoring product development activities to support design traceability.

  • You will investigate the impact of design changes, considering alternate options to meet the business continuity goals for ACM.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to support product management over the entirety of the product lifecycles.

  • You will support from R&D in field and product launch activities to drive continued customer centric engagement and collection of product needs for future development activities.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work in a team environment both locally and globally.

  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in taking design requirements from concept through final design.

  • General knowledge of related principals including electromechanical, tissue optics, physiological signals, fluid dynamics etc.

  • Thorough understanding and wide application of technical principals, theories and concepts in patient monitoring, wearable monitors, etc.

  • Experienced in design for six sigma or similar engineering practices.

  • Ability to apply engineering analysis techniques and tools (Solidworks, Matlab, Minitab, Excel, etc.)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering plus 4 years of experience or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
