Job Description

Scope:

The quote team receives quote requests, prioritizes them, imports and runs analysis on data, interprets technical information and enters it into the quote system. Previous experience in the printed circuit board industry is desired.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Determines the best build location for quantities requested.

Understands how to minimize the cost of a stackup / bill of materials.

Understands how to maximize panel utilization.

Understands basic material properties and can select equivalents

Understands appropriate range for full lead time price, given the technology.

Calculates the minimum lead time to build and checks material inventory.

Can complete single lamination and type-1 HDI quotes with impedance requirements.


Essential Knowledge and

Skills:

Strong data entry skills

Ability to quickly learn and adapt

Must excel in an environment where details are critical

Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Ability to work within ITAR and export control guidelines

Strong reading, documentation and problem solving skills are required

Basic math skills are required

Candidate with PCB experience is preferred

Work Environment:

The TTM quote group is a fast paced global team that is expected to turn around accurate quotes quickly. Members generally work independently, but will also engage with other groups within the company to ensure quotes are done efficiently and correctly. Ability to quickly learn and adapt is critical to the TTM Team.

VIEW JOBS 3/14/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-12T00:00 Scope: A Material Release Operator is actively involved in the various processes of preparing and releasing the appropriate materials to the manufacturing floor. Must meet or exceed output targets by understanding the product flow and handling procedures within the department. Duties and Responsibilities: * Check copper weights and thickness * Identify, itemize and stock cores * Determine cutting lines on copper using measuring devices * Operate hand and power tools that cuts copper sheet according to job specifications * Inspect sheared materials using measurement tools to verify dimensions comply with customer specifications and travelers * Properly handles and transports materials to production floor * Maintain inventory records * Perform preventative maintenance on all machines * Use all required Personal Protective Equipment * Complete all internal documentation accurately * Warehousing & inventory control * Assist in the receipt of incoming materials and delivery of same to appropriate requisitions * Perform other related duties as assigned * Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity Essential Knowledge and Skills: * Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job * Ability to perform basic math * Ability to perform repetitive work * Must be able to lift 40 pounds * Must have strong organizational skills * Computer skills a must * Work independently in a fast paced environment * Flexible, organized, and able to prioritize and multi-task work * Must have good attendance and punctuality * Must be a self motivated individual who performs a high quality job * Fork lift experience * Split shift 10am to 6:30pm * Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * Two years experience in the printed circuit board industry preferred * Valid Driver's License Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
