Quote & Pricing Analyst

TechTrans International provides language services and travel logistics - language teaching, interpreting, translating, travel coordination and much more. We have international offices, staff and clients calling us from around the world.

We are seeking a Full-Time Quote / Pricing Analyst for our Clear Lake office. The candidate will develop cost estimating models and winning pricing strategies for complex projects based on RFP analysis, competitive price-to-win analysis, analysis of historical cost performance, selected technical approach, and customer requirements. The candidate will compile and analyze cost and pricing data including supplier/subcontractor quotes, help to develop the basis of estimate, and prepare both quick-turn around quotes and compliant cost proposals, including mandatory narrative elements, in response to formal solicitations. The candidate will ensure that all pricing is traceable to thorough, auditable documentation. The position requires daily communication with quote requesters.

Duties and Skills include:

• Assure complete and comprehensive pricing via thorough review of pricing requirements.

• Assure accuracy of quotes and cost proposals via routine quality control reviews and appropriate follow-up.

• Assure timeliness of quotes and cost proposals by developing and strictly adhering to the established production schedule.

• Assure proper documentation and recordkeeping of all pricing rational and considerations.

• Assure winning pricing strategies and continuous improvement via routine reviews of cost and win/loss analyses.

• Assure routine customer contact and follow-up to improve sales and expand business.

• Provide timely statistical and analytical reports on Pricing Activities.

• Assist Business Development group in analyzing opportunities for pricing strategies and risks.

• Experience and competency in quote preparation.

• Ability to develop a quote/cost proposal review for quality control (QC).

• Demonstrate competency in quote analysis to provide budget and basis for Operations and Accounting.

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by identifying client's needs, concerns and objectives.

• Assist operations and accounting departments in transitioning new clients.

• Ability to analyze client's requirements and suggest appropriate solutions.

• Work with operations and accounting to resolve invoicing and service issues with customers and vendors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. Master's Degree in related field highly desirable.

• 5 years of creating concurrent quotes in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong foundation in commercial and Government contracting including GSA, FAR, DFARS, TINA, CAS, and DCAA regulations; and knowledge of all contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF and T&M.

• Must be proficient with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to include analytical projects (will be tested).

• Must possess strong time-management, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
