Quick Base Developer and Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX

We have an exciting new job opening for a Quick Base Developer and Analyst to work on-site at our client's global headquarters in Dallas, Texas. This role will report to the Manager of Analytics, Tools & Reporting.

Responsibilities will include the gathering of requirements, building, administration and documentation of Quick Base applications while providing insight and suggestions to improve user experience. The candidate will be responsible for building new apps and completing enhancements to current apps based on the user's requirements. They will consult with the users to gain an understanding of the requirements, provide feedback and suggestions and build/maintain the Quick Base app. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global organization that is a known leader in their industry!

Responsibilities

o Consult with users to gain an understanding of their requirements and create requirements documents

o Maintain Quick Base application documentation

o Build Quick Base applications to meet provided requirements

o Assist app owners with support request

o Admin related duties including adding/removing users and license allocation

o Work closely with other Team Members to produce high value reports for executive management and the rest of the organization

o Be proficient in building database driven applications, creating tables and relationships, setting up forms, reports and dashboards

o Ability to integrate and analyze data sources using scripting

o Ability to automate functions and processes using scripting

o Be an effective communicator, consulting with internal and external stakeholders to obtain requirements and translate into working database models

o Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to provide recommendations based on data and prior experience

Required Qualifications

o 1+ years of Quick Base development experience

o 1-3+ years of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development experience

o Experience working with API environments

o Ability to travel, as often as needed, to the client's other offices

o BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Analytics or Computer Science or MA/MS Master's Degree in Technology or Engineering-related field

Preferred Qualifications

o Experience designing and building apps in Quick Base

o Realm administration experience with Quick Base

o Experience building dashboards in Jira and/or Tableau

o Experience with BootStrap, DataTables, ReactJS and/or RequireJS

o Experience with SQL and database table relationships

o Understanding of Agile, Governance/PMO

The knowledge base system is used for the external knowledge base for our WeC customers (Walmart.com/help), as well as the agent desktop to support the efficient handling of emails, voice calls, chats, and surveys. The KB Specialist is accountable for creating, maintaining, and optimizing content on Walmart.com Help pages and helping define the content delivery strategy. This individual will, on a daily basis, evaluate the effectiveness of the self-help knowledge base and contact deflection rates by reviewing reports and analyzing data with the focus on improving the customer experience and reducing inbound contacts. The KB Specialist will partner closely with senior stakeholders, business teams and call center agents to translate complex processes into simple, end-user-focused solutions. As owner of a content library, the KB Specialist will anticipate agent needs and services and participate in the continuous evolution of the content management program. He/she will also spend time networking with other departments to implement self-help and knowledge best practices available within the technology suite.
