We are currently searching for a Queue Coordinator to join our IT team at our Corporate Office.

The person in this role will be tasked with troubleshooting and assisting patients with any issues related to our patient portal, processing inbound electronic referrals, and monitoring the outbound failed faxes queue. Duties will include answering patient email and phone calls, serving as a resource for basic issue resolution, troubleshooting and guidance and communicating with clinic staff as needed.

While we are looking for individuals who are technology savvy, THIS IS NOT A TECHNICAL ROLE. More importantly, candidates need to be educators, problem solvers and excellent communicators. Successful candidates will be customer service oriented, be excellent relationship builders, and have a positive demeanor.

Under the supervision of the Referral Management Supervisor, this position is responsible for the daily coordination of referral processes and other duties as assigned. Primary Responsibilities: * Manage the internal/ external referral process and daily referral reconciliation * Answers telephone and assists caller through the phone queue and back office phone line * Participate in clinic and market education/training, as needed and/or required * Maintains knowledge and ensures procedures are followed including referral guidelines and policies, privacy, and confidentiality * Deliver quality customer service, managing the referral process professionally and timely * Work independently and act as a resource or subject matter expert (SME) for others * Manage and prioritize tasks that may include compiling reports and spreadsheets * Maintain professionalism and positive service attitude with all internal and external customers/peers * Performs all other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED equivalent required * Health Care related experience 1-2 years * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Strong customer service skills * Detail oriented with organizational and time management skills * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including: Excel, Word and Outlook Preferred Qualifications: * Medical Assistant experience * Knowledge of basic medical terminology * Referral management experience 1-2 years * Medical Insurance experience 1-2 years * Customer Service 1-2 years * Bilingual * Assist in developing marketing and communications plan for the Strategic Community Partnership Program Careers with WellMed.
