Your Role and Responsibilities

As a member of our Quantum Safe team, you will join a talented group of professionals, serving in key sectors and industries, such as financial services, telecommunications, retail, energy, health care, government entities and others. Our broad portfolio of Quantum Safe services and technologies is aimed at driving tangible cryptographic transformations of our clients. IBM's Quantum Safe team understands the client's business and industry challenges while being insightful and bridging the gap to cryptography research and development. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of industry and/or consulting experience

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the field of cryptography; on conceptual or hands-on level, including areas such as key management, public key infrastructure, , cloud key management & encryption

• Knowledge of quantum-safe cryptography (aka "post-quantum cryptography"), ideally with first experience in a practical context or implementation

• Strong client and relationship building skills

• Strong presentation and communications skills (both written and verbal)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Motivated learner and team player with strong leadership capabilities, able to work in virtual teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge in the field of quantum computing and quantum communication is a plus

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM) and Security certifications

(CISSP, CSSK, CCSP) are considered a plus

• Knowledge of and experience working in selected industries, such as financial services, telecommunications, public sector, retail, energies, etc. is a plus
