The Quantitative Market Analyst will report to the EVP of Power and will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the development of energy management services for AI loads in West Texas.

• Providing strategic support to bitcoin mining customers.

• Developing quantitative models for ERCOT power prices.

• Conducting market research in the energy and digital asset space.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide power solutions for large loads at Lancium Clean Campuses.

• Optimize operations for delivering low-cost, green energy to large loads.

• Offer services to optimize energy consumption and maximize financial outcomes for bitcoin mining customers.

• Develop market analysis tools and models.

Additional Duties

• Conduct fundamental and statistical analysis.

• Deliver daily market intelligence and operational reports.

• Build and maintain key metric dashboards for the leadership team.

• Support with designing and implementing the processes required to provide services as a Retail Electric Provider and Demand Response Provider.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in an analytical role using data science, statistical modeling, and programming.

• Strong knowledge of ERCOT market regulations and operations.

• Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, VBA for Excel, SQL, and Python.

• Experience with ETRM systems preferred.

• Familiarity with Bitcoin mining and experience with cryptocurrency is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
