PAY RANGE: Sr Quantitative Analyst: $88,500 - $118,000
Lead Quantitative Analyst: $104,200 - $138,900
Quantitative Analyst Consultant: $121,900 - $162,500
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday
Friday 8:00 a.m.
5:00 p.m. Job may require additional hours as required.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Quantitative Analyst, you'll play a key role in developing and implementing quantitative models and strategies to support various aspects of our business, including risk management, trading, investment, and pricing.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll leverage your expertise in mathematics, statistics, and programming to drive actionable insights and deliver value to our organization.
Model Development: Develop quantitative models and algorithms to analyze financial markets, assess risk, and optimize trading strategies.
Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze financial data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for trading/marketing.
Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques and time-series analysis to model financial data, forecast market trends, and estimate risk factors.
Risk Management: Assess and manage portfolio risk through quantitative risk models and analytics, including Value-at-Risk (VaR) and stress testing.
Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of quantitative models and strategies, conducting back testing and performance attribution analysis.
Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in quantitative finance, financial mathematics, and computational methods, and explore innovative approaches to quantitative analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, gather insights, and deliver actionable recommendations.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
Master's degree is preferred
5 years experience as a quantitative analyst or related role in a trading environment
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Strong quantitative skills, with expertise in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and programming
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, and experience with quantitative libraries and frameworks
Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and trading strategies, with a strong understanding of quantitative finance concepts
Experience with quantitative modeling techniques such as time-series analysis, regression analysis, and machine learning
Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to take on responsibility and challenging work assignments
