Qualifications

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Under general supervision, performs various clerical functions for management including maintaining departmental files and records. - minimum of 40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs various administrative and clerical functions for management including maintaining departmental files and records.

  • Maintains an appropriate level of office supplies and equipment and arranges for the needs of the department when required.

  • Assists in the troubleshooting process. Investigates, audits, and helps maintain the Quality Management System and Engineering documentation

  • Capable of using, or learning, advanced software applications such as maintaining the MRP system, creating work instructions and preparing recurring reports with staff and colleagues.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes other duties as assigned by management.

CONTACTS

Internal: Contacts requiring the obtaining or giving of information or service.

External: Contacts required with customers and suppliers as a regular part of duties that involve the non-controversial e exchange of information according to specific instruction or standard procedures.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Six to nine months of internal manufacturing experience, or two to four years of related experience to acquire knowledge of office policies and procedures.
