Your role and responsibilities
Physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure the quality of the product or manufacturing processes Performing all factory acceptance testing checks as assigned to meet production goals while focusing on Quality Conducting shop floor operations in compliance with health and safety guidelines, and reporting any non-compliance Process certified test reports upon successful completion of testing Cross training will be expected and required Potential of some weekday and weekend On Time (OT)
Qualifications for the role
Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with electrical testing equipment performing tests like overvoltage, dielectrics, accuracy, PD, HLIC, and LIC is preferred
1 year experience in quality
Knowledge of smart metering devices and power supplies
Ability to read basic production documents (I.e., work instructions, drawings), understand basic math skills and read measurement tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and ATS preferred
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
Knowledge of basic electricity and circuits is preferred
Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
Work as a member of a team
Desired experience in SAP and Windchill
Ability to work with teams and deliver feedback to operators concerning identified issues
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
