The Quality Test Technican is responsible for performing and communicating test results and analysis of TMLC products. This is accomplished through the inspection, audit, and reporting of products, processes, parts and tool verification utilizing quality tools and systems. In addition to providing verbal updates and written reports on analysis, the Quality Test Technician will also actively participate in test development and documentation of procedures and any continuous improvement projects.


  • Use all aspects of testing equipment to set-up, perform, and report on all phases of product testing based on Quality Manager/Quality Engineer developed test plans.

  • Use statistical tools to identify and quantify quality problems. Ensures accurate documentation of problems.

  • Use all aspects of measurement tools (mechanical, optical, etc.) for part, process and tool verification.

  • Provide accurate documentation of testing performance, results, and summaries.

  • Prepare and modifies appropriate inspection/audit work instructions using pre-determined measurement methods and steps.

  • Maintain and report on established Quality Systems. This includes inputting updates and generating routine reports or special reports upon requests. (i.e. PPAP, Receiving Inspection, Non-conforming Material, Calibration.)

  • Safely and effectively use Q&R tools & tests in the TMLC Technology Test Center including but not limited to: Instron, Shock Tester, Drop Tester, Automated Cycle Tester, Vibration Table, Ingress Protection Testers, Temperature/Humidity Chamber, Salt Fog/UV Apparatus, CMM, Optical Comparator, Calipers/Micrometers/Hard Gages, Optical/Digital Microscopes


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum one year experience laboratory or metrology work.

  • Demonstrated passion for learning and experience in the fields related to Quality & Reliability Testing.

  • Demonstrated problem solving capability.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in group settings with people of diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to commute daily to TMLC Oak Creek Campus.
