Quality Technician

Position: Quality Technician

Location: Elk Grove, IL

Starting Rate: $26.12

Shift: 5:45pm-6:15am

While reporting to the Department Manager as a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for off-line testing of products. Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, work in process and finished goods as well as other duties as assigned.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in maintaining process for document control.

• Must know which measurement and test equipment/tools are appropriate for various tasks

• Inspecting materials, final products, and machinery for defects.

• Implementing process improvement initiatives as needed and ensure that production output meets organizational expectations.

• You can perform work under minimal supervision

• Quality Control Testing or Lab Experience

• Project work which includes more complex tasks or organization (i.e. microscopy, large-scale sampling & testing)

• Document/Create/Submit COA's, COC's as required.

• Basic daily communications within the Quality Department both verbally and through email

• Compliance to all company safety and safe quality food practices and procedures

• Determine/differentiate modes of failure
