Paradigm is seeking a Quality Technician for our client, the leader in plastic injection molding. This is an amazing opportunity; our client has a strong reputation for quality, service, and is known for being a great place to work. In this role, you'll monitor operations to ensure that production standards are met as well as inspect, test, and measure the material or products being produced.

Pay Rate: Up to $19.75/hr DOE and shift

What you'll do:

  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; reject and return unacceptable materials
  • Record inspection data as required
  • Recognize and communicate out of control and out of specification conditions to the manufacturing team
  • Write non-conformance reports
  • Assist manufacturing whenever possible with acceptable criteria, problem investigation, and procedure interpretations
  • Recognize and communicate changes to part quality that may need the attention of technical staff
  • Send reports to appropriate staff as-needed
  • Release product using a scanner in the MRP system


What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience as an Inspector 1 or equivalent
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • You pay strong attention to detail
  • You're able to read, understand, and verbally communicate work instructions
  • You're able to perform basic math functions
  • You can lift, reach and pull 10 lbs. frequently and 30 lbs. occasionally
  • You're capable of using basic inspection tools and gauges accurately (These include calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges)
  • You're able to work graveyard shifts

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer withsome circuit design knowledge or an IC designer with a software background. You will be part of a team responsible for testing, debugging and qualifying software releases and updates. Quality assurance responsibilities will involve the design, development, and execution of functional and regression tests used to measure correctness, robustness, performance, and overall quality. You will collaborate with senior software engineers, quality assurance specialists, marketing, and customer support professionals to help deliver timely product releases that meet our customer's needs. Through leadership and innovation, develop procedures and tools needed to improve the QA process and assist developers in design trade-offs and risk analysis assessments. You will be challenged to break away from the conventional methods of testing and to think both like an electrical engineer and a software engineer. The candidate should have good software skills and testing abilities and have knowledge of the CAD/CAE industry.
