Start your new career as a Quality Technician with MAU at our client in Seneca, SC. As a Quality Technician, you will test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

What We Offer

  • $20 - $24.76 per hour

  • 2nd shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

  • 3rd shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Associate degree or higher preferred

  • 1+ year(s) of quality related experience preferred

  • Initiative and high sense of urgency

  • Internal/external customer service orientation

  • Computer skills, knowledge of SAP Inventory, Excel, and Word software

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time including while operating stand-up forklift

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repetitively

  • Ability to step up and down off lift

  • Ability to walk long distances for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

What You'll do as a Quality Technician

  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas

  • Confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards

  • Select products for tests at specified stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics

  • Record test data, apply statistical quality control procedures, such as gage R&R's and capability studies

  • Evaluate data and write report to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards

  • Recommend modifications of existing quality standards and work instructions to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability

  • Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics

  • Prepare graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis

  • Perform other tasks as assigned
