Duties and Responsibilities:
Operation of quality testing equipment
Cured product testing: Foam core density, Compressive Strength, Cold box, k-factor
Attribute testing for product aesthetics
Data entry into SAP, SAPi, and Excel
Warehouse Unit Inspection
Writing and submission of safety documentation (T3P)
Housekeeping of workplace according to 5S standards
Assist in training of new team members
Calibration of testing equipment
Inspection of production equipment
Product dimension measurements with tape measure and caliper
Transportation of product using forklift
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
Ability to read a tape measure and hand caliper
Ability to use a computer and send emails
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Ability to read and understand technical documents
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Ability to operate product quality testing equipment.
Ability to operate a forklift (preferred)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of manufacturing process
Knowledge of quality specifications/standards
Knowledge and adherence to plant safety policies
Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience with quality assurance testing
Experience with driving a forklift (preferred)

Working Conditions:
Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but is not limited to the following.
Exposure to both very high and very low ambient temperatures
Hazardous chemicals, dust, large machinery, pinch points, and saws
Noise
Walking and standing for long periods of time
40 hours per week with overtime as required
8-hour shifts Monday-Friday with weekends as required
Fast paced 24/7 operation
Travel Requirement
Possible occasional overnight travel for training purposes
