Overview

Responsible for final visual inspection of all products to meet Black Box quality standards. Compiles products and peripherals into complete package for Finished Goods inventory. Position is a contract to hire opportunity. Hours are M-F 8:30a-5:30p with some potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspection of assembled products to ensure Black Box quality standards have been met.

  • Prepare packages for Finished Goods inventory by verifying product has a quality control label, preparing the product for packaging, compiling and packing associated peripherals, and applying a Finished Goods bar code label.

  • Responsible for inventory accuracy by tracking transfers of inventory in the Black Box inventory data base and performing cycle counts on a monthly basis

  • Monitor special orders to ensure completion according to Black Box quality standards.

  • Communicate rejection issues to supervisor.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of Job:

  • Good decision making and problem solving skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to multi task and work under pressure

  • Excellent computer/software knowledge (RF Scanner a plus)

  • Familiarity with telecommunications products and design is a plus

  • Familiar with inventory knowledge; cycle count

  • Strong Attention to detail

  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent memory

  • Ability to stand for majority of shift

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent *Or equivalent work experience educational focus (Field of Study)

  • 2+ Years experience with inventory control/ cycle count knowledge

  • 2+ Years experience Quality Control practices & procedures

  • Previous Customer Service experience

  • Previous forklift/picker experience is a plus

About the role: To provide quality support to product development and manufacturing to develop, apply, monitor, measure, improve, and communicate quality methodologies from product development through product commercialization. Additional Information: * Provide effective 1st shift operations quality support to Thrombectomy Wires Assembly. * Work effectively with engineers, technicians, supervisors, and floor personnel to resolve day-to-day issues, achieve team objectives, and promote quality principles. * Review, investigate, disposition, and resolve non-conforming material issues, internal customer complaints, and subassembly/component supply issues. * Analyze nonconforming material and complaint data for issues/trends - identify corrective actions as necessary. What we're looking for: Basic Qualifications * Technical Degree (AA, Certificate) or equivalent experience * 2-3 years of experience. Required Skills * Experience in a cGMP environment. * Previous application of quality tools, Microsoft Excel, and Word. * Must be a strong problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Independent organization and prioritization of multiple tasks. * Must work effectively in a dynamic work environment.
