Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the sampling of all incoming raw materials for analytical and microbiological testing.

You will gather and initiate chain-of-custody documentation for all finished goods samples from filling lines for analytical and microbiological testing.

You will perform various laboratory tests, including FTIR, sensory, HPLC, ICP, wet chemistry techniques, and various microbiological testing (plate counts (TPC) and basic identification techniques) per United States Pharmacopeia (USP) test methods. Additionally, you will enter test sample results into the ERP or Quality system and release products from Quality Hold. You will support and provide quality expertise on product and testing out-of-specification (OOS) deviations and investigations.

You will support corrective actions approved by the Quality Control Manager as a result of laboratory investigations, perform statistical analyses of quality control data, and create trending reports for management. You will also create or modify standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with FDA, USP, and internal quality requirements.Hard Skills & QualificationsBachelor degree in scientific discipline2 years
