Pay Range: $75,000 - $115,000

REQUIRES random drug and alcohol testing throughout the year. The drug test screens for: Marijuana, Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine and semi-synthetic opioids: hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and oxymorphone.

Position Summary

Tecnical leadership for ensuring product adherence to AS9100/ISO9001 and customer requirements in an aerospace and industrial manufacturing environment. Collaborate with manufacturing, sales and marketing, and other colleagues to provide critical solutions in hydraulic and pneumatic controls for aerospace and industrial gas turbine applications.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the discrepant material review and disposition process.

  • Serve as primary customer contact for the Quality Management Department:

  • Root Cause / Corrective Action and Failure Analysis Requests.

  • Provide technical assistance.

  • Answer questions pertaining to production and quality issues.

  • Schedule and assist in source inspections.

  • Assist with customer audits, engineering investigations, etc.

  • Visit customers.

  • Track customer quality issues to conclusion.

  • Perform and update first article inspections.

  • Administer the Government - Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP).

  • Provide hands-on assistance to manufacturing and various departments on quality issues.

  • Internal AS / ISO Auditor.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.

  • Associate's Degree in a technical field, and 2 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of training/education and experience.

  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.

May include lifting up to 10 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.

  • The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, mandatory hearing protection, and appropriate footwear is required. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
