ABB is seeking a Quality Technician -1st Shift for its Jonesboro, Arkansas location.This role is responsible for inspecting and testing product in compliance with our quality standards.This includes researching quality errors and documenting in report form.
Research errors and write up error report.
Identify root causes and implement corrective action.
Trouble-shoot the repair of products, such as standard low voltage product units, sub-assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies down to the component level.
Identify and repair problems, perform tests and other activities as needed to ensure the best possible, most cost effective problem resolution.
Develop and implement quality reports, gathering and statistically analyzing information in errant conditions.
Ensure reports are produced according to schedule and shared with all appropriate functional areas.
Perform other duties/projects as required.
Bachelor degree with minimum of 1 year of related experience OR a combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, schematics, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts to calculate figures and amounts (discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, area).
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).Must be analytical and well organized.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office.Detailed and team oriented.Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.
