The Quality Team Facilities Associate is accountable for maintaining the highest quality standards for Fullscript's products and services. They will support the QA Safety & Facilities Manager in organizing and controlling documents and conducting regular quality audits.
Additionally, they will assist in training activities, specifically in cGMP training. This role reports directly to the QA Safety & Facilities Manager. This role is a combination of quality assurance and quality control.
This position requires candidates to be located in Riverside, California, as it is an onsite role.

What you'll do
The Quality Team Facilities Associate, based in one of our distribution centers, is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to our cGMP practices on-site.
They will promptly report any concerns or opportunities for improvement to the Quality Assurance Safety & Facilities Manager.
They provide assistance in delivering cGMP and Controlled document training to new hires and conduct annual refresher training for all warehouse departments. Moreover, they support employees in submitting quality assurance policies and cGMP procedures.
The associate plays a key role in coordinating audit information across departments, demonstrating a willingness to familiarize themselves with cGMP standards and/or ISO certification in the same or a related industry.
Collaboration with the Returns team is required to handle customer complaint returns or undeliverable packages. The associate conducts daily and monthly DC audits/inspections, ensuring the timely closure of any corrective actions resulting from the audits.
They lead distribution center sanitation efforts, ensuring compliance with work cleaning and sanitation schedules both internally and through contracted services.
Oversight of equipment calibration and preventative maintenance processes is part of their responsibilities, including scheduling and monitoring preventative maintenance activities.
Internal audits at the distribution center are conducted as required, ensuring preparedness for regulatory on-site audits.
The associate assists the Quality Assurance Safety & Facilities Manager in organizing quality issues such as product recalls, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and deviations.
Accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of all relevant communications, audits, corrective action plans, preventative maintenance, and effectiveness monitoring is maintained.
They support external contractors and the property management company for routine or non-routine projects and preventative maintenance schedules.
Collaboration with the Quality Assurance Safety & Facilities Manager is essential for developing a Safety Committee.
The associate is expected to fulfill any other assigned duties within the scope of the Quality department.
Who you are
1-2 years of Quality experience and at least 1 year of Facilities and Maintenance experience required; food industry preferred.
HS Diploma required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work and communicate effectively with various team members, suppliers, and cross-functional departments
Proficient in G suite products and MS programs (Word and Excel)
