Quality Assurance: Develops, implements and maintains technical company and regulatory quality assurance and control systems in the manufacturing facility. Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of Company products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards/specifications and applicable government regulations/standards such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. May organize, document, and interpret inspection support documents and records.

The candidate will be in charge of the BU Quality Management System (QMS) and its adherence to customer and applicable standard requirements in close collaboration with the management team.
His/Her main responsibilities will be to:
Maintain the BU/Site(s) QMS certification (AS9100) and implement new ones relevant to the Aviation, Defense Industry or contractually requested (Nadcap, etc.) requirements.
Manage the Internal Audits Plan and the right execution of the associated corrective action plans.
Ensure the interface between the BU/Site(s) and Corporate Quality for the Mercury Corporate Quality initiatives.
Support the Corporate QMS implementation and deployment of Corporate Procedures for the BU/Site(s)
Co-ordinates the collection, preparation, and presentation of management review inputs.
Organize management reviews in accordance with the defined scope and schedule.
Perform the periodic analysis of Customer satisfaction through their Quality scorecards.
Support and control eventual recovery plans with the agreement of the General Manager.
Ensure that Corporate Dashboards are completed correctly and timely.
Drive Continual Improvement through evaluation of the leading KPIs and realization of 5M analysis.
Represent the BU/Site(s) in front of Customers on Quality related topics.
Provide his/her support as a quality expert in all activities such as internal audits, First Article Inspection (FAI), evaluation of suppliers and participation in the release of products and related documents
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
AS9100D expert with electronics manufacturing experience required.
5+ years of experience as quality manager in aerospace or defense industry.
Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail, multi-task and meet deadlines
Ability to see overall impact of corrective action cases and identify similarities and trends
Ability to review procedures and identify potential conflict with other procedures
Ability to enforce processes firmly, yet tactfully
Ability to make technical decisions in the context of business needs and expectations
Strong math and analytical skills
Power user of MS Office
Ability to coach and teach internal associates
Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
Good interpersonal skills.
Experience with the Atlassian toolsuite (jira and confluence) and Jama a plus
B.S. Degree in a relevant technical discipline
Post education in quality management, including quality auditor training and qualification.
US Citizen, able to obtain a security clearance.
