Description: Part of the Quality Food Safety Team, the general objectives for the Quality Systems Manager are:To coordinate and supervise operations of the SQA IT Platform tool and associated initiatives.Build a world class quality monitoring structure and tools for BBU.Provide leadership to all associated quality initiatives.Provide meaningful information that help operations to drive continues improvement.Train and develop individuals in the organization to use, maintain and expand Superior Quality Always.This position can be located in Fort Worth TX , Chicago IL, or Horsham PA.

Key Job Responsibilities:Comply with all company policies applicable to his or her position (safety, code of ethics, policies and procedures).Training of All levels on initiatives around the SQA platform.Coordinate and supervise adherence to the QS Program, by providing reports and aggregate quality systems information to the Senior Director of Quality Food Safety.Build and follow up a budget for SQA Platform support.Provide the team with the Master Project Plan to guide their activities. This Plan must be approved by the Director of Quality and Food Safety.Consolidate, review, analyze the information and identify valuable insights considering a wide business perspective using other information sources (plants scoring reports, TraceGains, WinSPC, third party analysis, BBU specifications data base, technical bibliography, etc.) and report to top management on a scheduled basis.Communicate findings to the appropriate instances in BBU and request (or support to build if necessary) corrective action plans to eliminate deviations and improve BBU quality.Follow up with responsible parties for corrective actions for scoring program.Conduct and manage projects to support, use and expand the SQA initiatives and platform.Work with Quality Food Service team to achieve set goals.Participate in coordinating activities with the Regional Quality Food Safety managers for each region.Follow and apply in the day to day work the training programs that are designed for his or her position. Requirements:

BS degree, in Engineering, Food Science or related major preferred. MBA definitely a plus.Four (4) years minimum experience in the food industry, in the areas of Operations, Plant engineering, Quality, Sanitation, and management experience a plus. Project management for running local to system wide projectsFDA PCQI:

Preventive Controls Qualified Individual.Familiarity with federal and state regulations, 6 sigma, ISO, AIB and GFSI Standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Organized and detail oriented.
